What you can write about
- Corrections. Bryophytes are hard to get right, and a fresh pair of eyes catches things. If a page has a mistake, a broken link or an out-of-date detail, a quick note is very welcome.
- Identification. If you have a moss you cannot name, a clear photo of the plant in place, plus a note of where it was growing and roughly how big it is, gets you a far better answer than a guess from a blurry crop. Honest identification sometimes stops at the genus, and the reply will say when that is the case.
- Image credits. Every photograph is credited on the image credits page. If you are the photographer and would like a credit worded differently, or an image removed, get in touch and it will be sorted quickly.
- Reuse and permissions. The text is licensed for non-commercial use with credit, as set out on the privacy and licensing note. For anything commercial, or if you are unsure whether your use is covered, just ask.
Response time
This is a spare-time project, so a reply can take a few days, especially in the growing season when there is more to photograph than to write about. Messages are not lost, they are just answered in turn.
